Michael S. Miller, PhD is a visionary entrepreneur and cognitive scientist with over two decades of experience applying the science of human behavior to optimize individual, team, and organizational performance. He is the founder and Chief Scientist of Front Range Evolution, LLC, a company that offers cutting-edge solutions for employee lifecycle management, including tailored hiring practices, training, performance management, leadership and executive coaching. Michael has a proven track record and has expanded the company to serve clients in various sectors, such as academia, industry, government, and international partners.


Michael is passionate about leveraging his unique background and expertise to help organizations achieve their goals and overcome their challenges. He is also a respected author and educator on topics such as organizational psychology, leadership, statistics, and sensation and perception.


Michael has a distinguished military career as a former counterintelligence agent in the U.S. Army from 1985 to 1992, with service in the first Gulf War. He completed basic airborne training, Special Forces Survival, Evasion, Resistance & Escape (SERE) training, and the Russian language basic course.


Michael holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Applied Experimental Psychology from The Catholic University of America, where he also taught as an adjunct faculty member from 2009 to 2020. He has served in multiple branches of the federal government as a problem-solver, solution-implementer, and people-leader.
